Holiday Program Celebrates the Season

On the last day before winter break, the entire school gathered at the Church of St. Paul the Apostle for the annual Holiday Program. Festive songs were sung by the Lower School Chorus, the Middle School Chorus, the Upper School Chorus, the UnDutchables, and the Collegiate Singers. There were also readings about the season – winter, Christmas, and Hanukkah – by Lower, Middle, and Upper School students. One of the highlights of the morning was kindergarten and first grade boys singing “Simple Gifts” and “This Little Light of Mine,” a Collegiate tradition. Another highligh was the singing of the "Halleluja Chorus" from The Messiah by the Upper School Chorus and Collegiate Singers, accompanied by the Collegiate Orchestra. After the concert, the boys went off to their well-earned winter break.
